Is it Organic?

Australia does not use antibiotics for disease control in beekeeping. All bee hive ware is as natural as possible, relying on natural treatments rather than on chemical preservatives. Hives are kept out in the countryside, typically many kilometres away from human activity. Honeylife's principle is "Put less & gain more". Other than using controls for Varroa Mite, Australia beekeepers follow the principles of organic honey production Great care is taken to ensure that the level of bioactive compounds is maintained from the hive to the finished product. This process does not exceed the natural temperature of the beehive. By most definitions, Honeylife's Honey can therefore be classified as raw!

Additional Sustainable Initiatives

No chemicals are used during the processing of the honey and only hot water is used to clean the plant. No harsh chemical cleaners are entering the environment inside or outside of the plant. Honeylife is committed to utilising the most sustainable business practices possible to minimize the impact on the beautiful and unique environment where they are privileged to live and work.
